Christine is an opinionated girl, but several bad experiences have led her to sometimes keep those opinions to herself. Generally quiet and in the background, she is somewhat bored with her life at the moment, especially in a smaller city, and wishes she could at least go somewhere exciting. Christine’s reverence for her mother has led to her becoming rather self-critical, especially where her emotions are concerned; she often wishes she didn’t wear them on her sleeve. Her looks have often led to people not taking her seriously, which has become something of a sore point for her, but she is intelligent and well-meaning.

Carmen is an intelligent woman with a sharp eye and a knack for figuring out what’s wrong. Not afraid to tackle her problems head-on, she has a very practical, analytical mindset that comes in handy during her work. Preferring the freedom and general anonymity that comes with working in the background, she doesn’t seek fame for herself, knowing she wouldn’t like it. She gets along nicely with her mother and sister, even though they have their share of disagreements. Always looking towards the future, Carmen has an eye for the odd, and delights in it.

Julie is highly intelligent, to be sure, but also full of teenage arrogance – using her own intelligence in very short-sighted ways, such as declaring herself an atheist not long after her mother’s remarriage. She can come off as rather insufferable to those who don’t know her, but she is a nice girl at heart. She dislikes her birth father for ‘abandoning’ them once her parents’ divorce was finalised, but she gets along excellently with her stepfather, who sees a little of himself in her and seeks to encourage her intelligence. Generally content with her life, even if it is a little stressful, she dreams big and hopes to really do something worth remembering, whatever that may be.

Hair: White-blonde; her hair is an ashen shade. It reaches to about her waist but is always braided or kept up in some way.

Konstancja is a very serious, reserved woman, one who prefers keeping things to herself. She is also very independent, and dislikes what she perceives as unwelcome criticism. She can have a temper, and while it takes quite a bit for its’ full fury to be unleashed, it isn’t a pretty sight when it is. She views her former situation as nothing less than captivity but seems to have come to peace with it and her ‘captors’. The skills she has learned while there are put to good use, and she is desperately trying to rebuild her life, even though obstacles still stand in her way.

Serena is a rather devoted person, in that she does not shy away from tasks asked of her. But on the flip side, she can be too devoted – excellent for the person benefitting from the task, but not so excellent for her family; she has become estranged with them. This weighs heavily on her mind, and she lives ‘in the past’ more often than she’d like to admit. Strong belief in her work is what keeps her going, and trying not to look back as often as she does.

Estranged from most of her family for reasons she refuses to elaborate on, she hides her loneliness well, throwing herself wholeheartedly into whatever she does. Happily married, she and her husband work well together

Corrine is very much a military woman; brisk and no-nonsense, she captains her vessel with an iron fist. Taking her job seriously, she tries to be something of a Renaissance man with her knowledge, although her focus is primarily in strategy. Keeping cool in stressful situations has helped her stay focused, although even she gets run down after a while. More knowledgeable than most others in the fleet about Earth, she uses this knowledge to her advantage.
